The Top Five HOTTEST Women of the DC Comics Universe

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, I thought it'd be nice to dig deep into my romantic and sweet mushy core. I thought I could take the chance to put on full display my deep, loving, gentle soul.

In that spirit, I give you the following;

THE 5 HOTTEST CHICKS IN THE DCU !!!

...see? I'm so charming....

We'll start off this post with #5, and count our way up the list to the Hottest of the HOT... so, without further distraction, I give you .......

5.) POWER GIRL

Karen Starr, Kara Zor-L, Power Girl ... whatever she wants to be called is fine by me; I'll just call her stunning. Don't jump to conclusions, I know why most people like PG, I know why most fanboys drool over any girl who cosplays as her at a Con. I know why girls the world over are jealous of her and why they get annoyed at their boyfriends and husbands as they stare at her image on the comics pages. The answer is simple, but I will not lower myself to state that reason here. Besides, PG can handle herself on that front.... to quote her from an old Justice League issue (Justice League Europe #37): "(my costume) shows what I am: female, healthy, and strong. If men want to degrade themselves by staring and drooling and tripping over themselves, that's their problem, I'm not going to apologize for it."

Instead, I shall talk of the other reasons that she is on this list. Karen is a strong powerful woman on the outside, and very fragile... even a little broken on the inside. She feels totally alone in the DCU, her world is lost to her and she now searches for purpose, meaning and family. Still, if you cross her, or her new family in the JSA, Heaven help you. She is almost as powerful as Superman and just as angry as Batman, if you push the right buttons. She is the girl you would want on your side in a fight.

Still, the brute strength is not the only reason we love her. Like I stated, she is a bit sad on the inside and that touches something in us all. We all feel out of place, alone and lost at times.... and she is a soul we can relate to. We feel that if she was real, maybe she'd be able to talk to us, we could connect and who knows? Dinner? Movie? Endless nights of super-powered passion? A geek can dream right?

Anyways.... she is beautiful, strong, intelligent and sweet, a woman you could take home to Mom..... although Dear Ol' Mom might wonder what's up with her revealing choice of clothing.... but Dad would LOVE HER!!!
