I just learned that the actor who portrayed Ernie, the owner of the Angel Grove Gym & Juice Bar in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers died of a heart attack on December 30th, 2008. He was 47 years old. He left the show due to health problems. His last appearance in Power Rangers was at the very end of Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie.
He is survived by his wife Rosa Isela Genelle and two children.
Rest In Peace Mr. Genelle, and thanks for being a part of something that meant so much to so many children.... myself included.

thanyou richard ernie genelle. he always liked your character in mighty morphin power rangers, you were as generous off screen as you were on screen, all those great episodes like when you gave the mango to jason david frank to defeat the two headed parrot, or when you character rented the juice bar to the rangers to have a surprise party for walter jones character zack.so many memories, you enriched my childhood with more memories than you ever will know. respect in pecae my friend, you contribution to power rangers was a vital support centre to help stabilise the cast members characters.. respect
